We make sure we select the right people to work with our children in our nursery, as good quality team members are a genuine asset. We use a values based recruitment technique as it focuses on the candidate’s behaviours and values to working with children.
Every member of our team has a full and relevant qualification at a minimum of Level 2 in Childcare and Early Education up to qualified teacher status (QTS). All staff complete additional training in the following as well as child based training
• Paediatric first aid.
• Safeguarding Children.
• Health and safety.
• Fire safety.
• Equalities and diversity.
• Food and hygiene.
We also have a Nursery Fee’s Officer who is dedicated to helping you with your fee’s, grants and any other queries about nursery finances.
At Bunny Tales we have a clear written induction programme for all new staff, students and volunteers.
Before a new team member starts they also have to have a clear DBS, references including a GP reference.
